Well what can i say other than a big blank (story of my life). Although i never caught i had a very enjoyable session. It felt fantastic to get out on the bank and smell the essence of what fishing is all about waking up to the sound of birdlife and seeing nature steadily coming back to life from the winter. We had some fantastic weather and saw some cracking Carp and a few good Pike. The moment for me was sitting watching some lovely looking Carp checking out my bait just a metre or so from the bank. Had a few heart racing moments especially when five big girls all got their heads down and all i could see was silt and tails. Cheers to all the guys who came down fishing or not its always nice to have a fishing waffle. I reckon even Pikemaster will be having a go for the Carp this year after seeing a few of the local residents up close :big: .
