Thanks for the warm welcome and good wishes for the season ahead. Should be a good one if the fish can get their reproductive urges out the way, but as usual the english weather is all over the place.

John, you asked what I mainly dangle for? When I get the chance to break free of the old ladies apron strings, and assuming I've earned sufficient brownie points. I'll be tucked up in the bivvy or up a tree spotting some true southern lumps (CARP). Having said that, I've started to become a little disillusioned with it all as it appears to be becoming more and more commercialized, which is spoiling it as everyone and his dog wants to catch a 30 or a 40 without putting in the ground work. So perhaps a change of species is in the wind, who knows.
