Hi all, just bought a 16ft sea boat, needs bit ov tlc but hopefully good to go soon. Wondered if anyone got any pointers or tips as never had a boat on the sea - not really sure what i am doing so i'll prob come back from 1st trip 'a few passengers short'.

Thinking ov storing boat at sunny skegness - i know the fishing prob not the best, but fairly local so can go more often (given permission from her in doors that is). Got my eye on Bridlington once i've gained a bit ov experience and a bit more confidence.

You are probrably best talking to Seafarer as he is as his name suggests a man of the sea. Although he sails the big stuff i`m sure he could give you some pointers matey.

thanks big lad - i will do. If he into big boats perhaps i could invest in a trawler - wunt need many trips to stock up on mackerel !
