The mighty Tidal Trent. The name Trent comes from the Celtic word for tresspasser due to the vast amont of land it entered uninvited before man managed to control it via flood defences.

They're mint pics John, nice to see a shot with the bridge on it :D I've always wanted to take a decent pic of that myself. I've resized the pics anyway mate, I'll have to put an announcement about this somewhere because all pics have to be a maximum of 640 pixels by 480 pixels or it distorts the display.

It's just one of those random things with computers, some people have bigger monitors so they can handle really large pics on their screen but on smaller screens it won't allow you to scroll along to the right to view all the pics or use the quote buttons.

Anyway, I'll have a think about this and see if I can find some auto resizer or something. I've flipped your upside down pic too mate. In future just post any images and I'll resize them for you if you want :)

DKM They are magic photos, TBH I'd like a copy for my pc screensaver, if you wouldn't mind.
All my shots are 35mm film, I have a framed print of the lamke near the Witham in Summer which you would love, to big to scan.
I reallly enjoy the lakeside scene, which I oftem admire while blanking...........

I enjoyed the fishing but the captain ran us a ground in the middle of the lake. I just hope he takes more note of the buoy`s when we go again in march

Hi fella, glad you liked the pics.

The shot that "needed no introduction" was taken from the dam wall at Redmire looking over the fence down the pool. That particular shot has become synonymous with Redmire.

You're welcome Martyn. Use em how you please :D The winter shot is one of a few I took one winter morning at a lake I've been on for about 25 years, I used to live a half mile away from it B)

The scenery is often the only benefit of going angling for me as I tend to be a bit poor in the catching of fish stakes

I'll be seeing you soon fella, bring those photos along ;)

Dudster, were you on the pleasure cruiser (wish my missis would call me that !) on Windemere, fishing off the back?
You only need a rowing boat on there mate, unless its blowing a hoolie. Caught my pb pike 18.08 from that lake, casting in towards shore in one of the boathouse bays on an Abu Atom, a twenty would be nice, but I'm happy at that.

The picture i took lake windermere was from my mates boat with captain stacey (member). The crash was fun'when we knew we wasnt going to sink'.After crashing we thought it would be a good idea to read the rules.
Lad's + boat with outboard + fishing tackle + lake windermere = dam good fun
here is another picture
