Paste baits are pretty damn easy to make by basically adding powders and an egg and liquids/additives of your choice.

The base-The base can be made of many powders you just have to be imaginative listed below are a few that can be blended together to acheive a base of your choice. These are just to give you an idea the selection is ultimately your own

Maize meal: a great binding product that all fish love.

Fishmeal: fish meals are great for making your paste mix with and will have the fish returning time after time.

Bread crumb: a simple and easy ingredient that we all have.Great binding properties and a very underused bait these days.

Ground trout pellets can be used to create a good firm paste.

soya flour: a light flour that is a good binder and helps lighten a heavy mix.

semolina: a heavy carbohydrate ladened flour with excellent binding properties.

Dried milk powder: whether it be human or animal grade really doen`t matter as i have used both to good effect. This slowly dissolves sending out food signals but use sparingly!!!!!

Nut flours: many different nut flours can be purchased from places such as CCmoores all are attractive to fish and are a good alternative protein source.

Wheat flour: Yep good ol bero will help bind your baits but i wouldn`t go over the top.

The list of liquids and additives could go on forever but what i will say is that rather than it just being appealing to you with regards to flavours etc just take a minute to read whether the fish will find it attractive such as protein content etc.

Fish oil,Nut oil, corn oil, The fact is you will be dazzled by the amount you can buy from the supermarket alone so choose carefully.

Curry paste,chilli,tumeric,5 spice,pepper,salt,sugar,cheese,mince,minced sausage,tuna,mackrel,garlic,minced tined meats,cat food,ground animal biscuits,ground seeds,essence flavouring,milk shake powders/liquids,
The list is endless

Ensure you mix powders together and liquids together with the egg. Then add the powder to the liquid until the desired consistancy is gained,Simple eh. B)

You could also build a paste to wrap around your boilie hookbait to add to its attraction.

Now all you got to do is find the :fish:
