Title: EA Rod Licences by Direct Debit

Seafarer - February 22, 2008 08:12 AM (GMT)
Morning Fella's!

I started getting my rod licence from the EA on their direct debit scheme a few years ago----------Does anyone else get theirs this way or do you all still go to the Post Office.
My idea is that by doing it this way I cannot forget to renew in time!!

Oh, and please fella's, if you reply to this don't go down the road of moaning about the cost of them
;)

I still buy mine from the post office as they are steadily in decline due to everything going direct debit. I`m not going to have a gripe about rod licence fees but what i cant understand is how the EA who are here to preserve and aid the environment, make you buy 2 bits of paper instead of just having it all on one. Just does not make sense imo as i`m sure they could just add an extra stamp or something for the extra rods. :fish:

I buy mine online, I'm convinced I get an e-reminder.
Having said that I might use the post office, as they need all the support they can get, do you reckon they get a cut for selling 'em?

Thats a really good point. I don't suppose the EA have even considered that!!
