does any body know of any were good for cat fish that isnt over priced and nt a million miles from grantham lincs??bin going to peterbourgh northy park not abad lake but come july it gets so weedy and migs,god its full of them.any surgestions welcome....

I only know of a few near me
Cromwell lake near Newarks got a few but its £24 for 24hrs
Willow bank fisheries (I think) at Kirton in Lindsey near Gainsborough has got a dedicated cat lake with some monsters so i`m told. If my memory serves me right one went 60+ .Again its pricey
A little lake at upton near Gainsborough/sturgate its incredibly small but apparently done a 40. They were coming out at 15Lb 10yrs ago and its stuffed full of food fish so quite believable don`t know the price cos i`ve not been fo 10 yrs its not my kind of venue. Ask at local post office he used to own it.

Some good advice there. Never fished for them myself. Thought there was a few in Woburn? No where near Lincs, but Bedfordshire, might be worth a weekend.
Sure there must be a cat fishing forum who will have a list of venues.

The other thing you can do is fish all the sessions you can at Northy, then pull off when the midges make it unbearable.

yes know of willow bank got some mosters in it.got my pb from there 33pounder.had alook at cromwell lakes think im gonna give it ago bt for the carp as the cats aint that big,wel compeared to willow bank lol.wonder if u had any moe information on gainsborough/sturgate dont know any thing about that one.thanxs
