Went for a a few hours on the idle in lound retford nottinghamshire with stacey(member) late start 3pm.It was looking good stacey got into 2lb plus chub in the first hour.At this point i was willing barble by mind power into the swim.Then one of my rod went running like a big dog.It was a healthy barbel of about 7lb i'll post pictures ..Thanks stacey for a good few hours.I havent fished on the idle for ages its a good barbel hole. :big:

Just got back from my mate's house and his brother had a 6lb Barbel out of the river Idle the other day he said, I'll try and get a photo if he's got one.

Ive recently fished my local river the derwent theres a place called bass rec in the town center i did`nt think there were any fish there until i got into a :big: torpedo [hair rig hali pell] also had two chub nice the only problem i saw were ropes tied to trees and put into the river :angry: anyway it was the first time i`ve fished it since i was a boy when we used to catch minoes :wave:
